Push the Bumper between the base plate and your pouch from above until the curvature fits closely. The open side of the bumper should point downwards to ensure the drain.

Wear your belt, waistband, elastic band, or safety belt smoothly over your ostomy. The Bumper protects your ostomy or your prolapse against unpleasant pressure.

The Bumper can be combined with all our products, but it can also be placed around each ostomy appliance without any additional products. The Bumper fits all standard ostomy appliances.

Material and care instructions

Always store the Bumper flat, please. Hand-washing is perfectly adequate. Please, don’t put the Bumper into the tumble dryer! Please, don’t iron! Please, don’t dry-clean! Please, don’t store on heat sources! Should you really like to disinfect the Bumper we recommend the use of commercial laundry disinfectants.

Manufacturing, material, and quality

Our patient bumper made of neoprene is stamped in Baden-Württemberg by the Paulinenpflege Winnenden e.V. Backnang in a sheltered workshop. The German neoprene manufacturer has the latex-free neoprene regularly tested for skin compatibility by Fresenius.
